applications are invited for two postdoctoral researcher positions in the field of quantum optics and quantum technologies within wilczek quantum center, working on the optomechanical systems, quantum information processing with color centers in solids, continuous variable quantum information processing, and dynamical quantum phase transitions. a robust knowledge of quantum optics and the theory of quantum information is required. the successful candidate will work primarily with professor mehdi abdi and will enjoy the international academic atmosphere of the wilczek quantum center at school of physics and astronomy in shanghai jiao tong university.further information about wqc can be found at wqc.sjtu.edu.cn.

skills and qualifications: applicants should have, or be about to obtain, a phd in a relevant area of theoretical physics, and to have an established track record of original research and experience of working in collaboration. have good skills to communicate in written and spoken english.

崗位職責(zé)

duties: duties will include developing and conducting individual and collaborative research projects and proposals. they will be expected to plan their own research, within the assigned project. they may be asked to assist in the supervision of student projects and development of skills, and deliver seminars relating to the research area.

崗位待遇

salary: no less than 242k rmbs per year
